A great buddy in the rush hour

1.Minced Chicken...............350g.
2.Minced Jicama
................1 cup (you can substitute with waternut)
3.Minced Shiitake mushroom.....1/4 cup
4.Minced Coriander root........1 Tsp.
5.Wonton Sheet.................30-35 sheets
6.Ground white pepper or powder.......1 Tbsp
7.Sesame oil...................1 Tsp.
8.Fishsauce....................2 Tsp.
9.Oyster sauce.................2 Tsp.
10.Soy Sauce..................4 Tsp.
12.Sugar......................4-5Tsp.
13.Salt.......................1/8 tsp.

1.Squeeze the juice of off the chopped jicama, then bring it up on heart, stir-fried for 1 minute to get rid of the left over moist, do the same thing with the mushroom. Do not season with anything in this step.

2. In the big bowl, mix all the ingredients together, gently rub the mixture for a while to make it soft and tender, and become a little bit sticky.  You can take a table spoon of the mixed ingredients and cook in the microwave to taste the taste, if you are not satisfied with the flavor, you can always add more.
3. Lay the banana leaf in the steamer and spray the cooking spray to prevent the dumplings from sticking to the bottom.

4.Cut the 4 corners of the wonton sheets...not to much.

5.Put the wonton sheet on the hand and add the mixture on top, now you are ready to wrap it!

6. To form the shape, you can either pull up the 4 side together and push the bottom of dumpling up, or just gently squeeze and again, push the bottom up.

7.Place the wrapped dumplings in the steamer, pour 6-7 cups of tab water into the bottom of steamer and bring up on the heat, wait until the water starts boiling, place the steamer that contains the dumplings on top, steam for 15-20 minutes

8. Tadaa....

Serve with the Sauce and fried garlic, enjoy!

* The cooked dumpling can be stored in the cool place a week, you can put the in the air tight container and keep in the freezer. This way when you are hungry, you can take them out to reheat and serve.
